Machine Vision as one of the leading technology for industrial production inspection The worldwide and China market have been growing in a very rapid pace.In your view, what are the current application and future trend for the technology? How do you see the impact and implication brought by the technology to the future development in manufacture industry? Dietmar Ley:One of the driving forces behind the rapid and dynamic development of the machine vision technology is the fact that it has become very easy to use. Most systems today are easily configurable to perform many tasks without extensive programming knowledge. Smart cameras, for example, are complete vision systems in a very compact housing and attractively priced. In general, the performance of machine vision technology is rapidly increasing, due to technological advances and rising computing power. This makes machine vision the technology of choice for a multitude of applications in various industries that need to ensure high quality levels at low cost. 机器视觉迅速的动态发展后面的推动力之一是这种技术已经变得特别容易使用. 当今的许多系统和用不着很广大编程知识就可以调节成行来执行许多不同的任务. 比如说, 智能相机都是装在一个紧凑的壳里的完整的机器视觉系统,而且价格也相当诱人. 一般来说, 机器视觉技术的功能在迅速增长, 其原因是技术的发达以及计算机功能的增长. 在多种需要以低成本来保证高质量的工业应用中, 这使得机器视觉成为首选的技术。
