Vision Project Lead Engineer/Manager

Location:                    Suzhou Industrial Park  

Role Objective:

·         Accountable for Vision Project including general machine design, build and commissioning as a project leader but under the supervision of Project Manager/Department Manager.

·         Must have total understanding of system controls and project management.

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:

·         Lead the project team members to achieve the expectant objectives.

·         Staff training and development

·         Technical equipment support across manufacturing plant

·         Installation and commissioning of equipment.

·         Total product transfer including Technical specifications & BOM.

·         Overall maintenance on project-related equipment.

·         Basic software updates.

·         Create/Update drawing of machine parts, jigs and gauges.

·         Trouble shooting of new manufacturing equipment and processes.

·         Liaise with suppliers and develop partnership with key suppliers.

·         Prepare/update process instructions.

·         Cost reduction via machine improvement.

·         Responsible for 6S in relevant areas.

SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Experience with theoretical design of new equipment, monitoring/controlling of the whole procedure from conception through prototype, testing, massive building, installation, commissioning to completion.

·         Strong project management skills. Result-orientated.

·         Bachelor degree in electronics from a reputable University.

·         Good verbal and written English, CET– 6 certification is preferred.

·         At least 5 years working experience in related field.

·         QC knowledge.

·         Ability to understand PLC program and change if required (MITSUBISHI/OMRON).

·         Software knowledge – Visual Basic / C++/Pascal preferred.

·         General Vision Concepts/mechanics/optics.

·         Automated machine knowledge and mechanical experience is preferred.

·         Equipment networking knowledge is desired.

·         Knowledge of modern high speed manufacturing methods.

·         Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.

·         Trouble shooting role on all aspects of engineering.

·         Good presentation and communication skills.

·         Excellent inter-personal skills.

·         Financial awareness.
