With the CCD-11000XR VDS Vosskühler presents for the first time an extreme high resolution x-ray detector. The detector achieves a resolution of higher than 25 Lp/mm, being read out with up to 6 frames/sec.

Owing to the high resolution of the detector less expensive x-ray sources can be employed, in order to achieve the same system resolution.

The sensitive sensor is protected by integrated fibre optics and is therefore suitable for an energy area of 30 – 150 kV.
